K.bio Page Visitor Cookie Notice

This Cookie Notice explains how cookies and similar technologies may be used when you visit a Creator’s public page hosted on K.bio (a “K.bio Page”).

K.bio is a service provided by ONEM Systems Inc., doing business as K.bio (“K.bio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

A K.bio Page is created and operated by the Creator identified on that Page (“Creator”). K.bio provides the technology used to host and operate the Page and processes certain information on behalf of the Creator.

This Cookie Notice should be read together with our Privacy Notice for K.bio Page Visitors.

1. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small data files stored on your browser or device. Websites may also use similar technologies, such as local storage, pixels, tags, or other technologies that recognize a browser or device or record interactions with a website.

K.bio Pages are designed to minimize the use of these technologies for default audience analytics.

K.bio’s default Creator Insights analytics are cookieless and do not use cookies or local storage to identify Visitors.

Creators may, however, choose to enable additional third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies on their K.bio Pages. These optional technologies are described below.

2. Strictly Necessary Technologies

K.bio may use technologies that are strictly necessary to operate, secure, and deliver K.bio Pages.

These technologies may be used to:

  • deliver and display the Page
  • maintain security and prevent fraud or abuse
  • maintain necessary session or technical state
  • remember your privacy or Cookie choices
  • provide functionality you request

Strictly Necessary technologies cannot generally be disabled because the Page or requested functionality may not work properly without them.

3. Cookieless Creator Insights

K.bio provides Creators with Insights about how Visitors interact with their K.bio Pages.

K.bio’s default Creator Insights analytics do not use cookies or local storage and do not retain raw IP addresses.

For these Insights, K.bio may process information such as:

  • Page views and interactions
  • link and Destination clicks
  • content and product interactions
  • browser and device information, including User-Agent information
  • country or general geographic information
  • referring sources
  • campaign information such as UTM parameters

For standard Page analytics, K.bio does not currently use this information to recognize the same Visitor across different days or across different K.bio Creator Pages.

Event data used for these Insights may be retained for up to 90 days.

K.bio processes this information on behalf of the Creator in order to operate the Creator’s Page and provide Insights about Page performance and audience interactions.

K.bio does not currently use this Visitor Data to build independent advertising profiles, conduct cross-Creator audience profiling, or target advertising to Visitors for K.bio’s own purposes.

Because these default Insights do not use cookies or local storage, they are not controlled through the optional Cookie settings described below.

4. Creator-Configured Analytics Technologies

Creators may choose to enable additional third-party analytics technologies on their K.bio Pages, such as Google Analytics or similar services.

These technologies may use cookies, local storage, identifiers, or other tracking technologies to help the Creator understand how Visitors interact with their Page.

Where applicable, these technologies are categorized as Analytics in K.bio’s Cookie Preferences.

Where consent is required by applicable law, these optional technologies will not be activated until the required consent has been provided.

5. Creator-Configured Advertising and Tracking Technologies

Creators may also choose to enable third-party advertising, measurement, or tracking technologies on their K.bio Pages, such as advertising pixels provided by supported third-party platforms.

These technologies may collect information about your visit or interactions and transmit that information to the applicable third-party provider.

They may be used by the Creator for purposes such as:

  • advertising measurement
  • conversion measurement
  • audience measurement
  • campaign optimization
  • remarketing or audience creation
  • other advertising functions supported by the applicable provider

Where applicable, these technologies are categorized as Advertising & Tracking in K.bio’s Cookie Preferences.

Where consent is required by applicable law, these optional technologies will not be activated until the required consent has been provided.

6. The Creator’s Responsibility for Optional Tracking

Optional third-party analytics, advertising, and tracking technologies are selected and configured by the Creator for the Creator’s purposes.

The Creator is responsible for:

  • determining why the technology is used
  • ensuring that its use is lawful
  • providing any additional privacy notices required by applicable law
  • obtaining any consent required by applicable law
  • complying with the terms and privacy requirements of the applicable third-party provider

K.bio provides the technical functionality that allows Creators to configure supported technologies but does not determine the Creator’s purposes for using them.

7. Your Cookie Choices

When optional analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies are used on a K.bio Page, K.bio may provide Cookie Preferences that allow you to manage these technologies.

Depending on the technologies enabled on the Page, the available categories may include:

Strictly Necessary
Required to operate and secure the Page and provide functionality you request. These technologies are always active where necessary.

Analytics
Optional third-party analytics technologies selected by the Creator.

Advertising & Tracking
Optional advertising, measurement, or tracking technologies selected by the Creator.

Where required by applicable law, you may:

  • accept optional technologies
  • reject optional technologies
  • enable or disable available categories
  • change or withdraw your choices later

Your Cookie preferences may themselves be stored using a Strictly Necessary technology so that K.bio can remember your choices.

8. Third-Party Providers

The third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies used on a particular K.bio Page depend on the technologies selected by that Creator.

When an optional third-party technology is enabled and permitted by your applicable Cookie choices, information may be transmitted to the applicable provider.

Those providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

K.bio does not control the independent privacy practices of those third-party providers.

9. Browser Controls

Most browsers allow you to block or delete Cookies through browser settings.

Browser controls operate separately from choices provided through K.bio’s Cookie Preferences.

Blocking certain technologies may affect the functionality of a K.bio Page or third-party features used on that Page.

10. Changes to This Cookie Notice

We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time to reflect changes to K.bio Page functionality, supported technologies, privacy practices, or applicable law.

The Effective Date at the top of this Notice indicates when the current version became effective.
